Welcome to my little corner of the internet:) Growing up with a mother who was a cellist, it seems the cello and I were destined to meet, and in its voice, I found my own. As I took my seat amid the warm glow of the twinkling chandeliers and high, vaulted ceilings of Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall, I waited with anticipation for my mother to take the stage. It was here that my heart first found the cello.
As an artist, performing has been my medium where stories are told, emotions are shared, and music brings people together. My guiding pursuit is to create meaningful experiences for listeners, driven by my curiosity and deep desire to connect with people from all walks of life.
Beyond the stage, I am equally passionate about nurturing the next generation of musicians. Teaching gives me the opportunity to not only share the discipline of cello playing but also the joy, creativity, and artistry the cello inspires. Because every student’s journey is unique, I take great care to tailor my approach to support their goals and help them discover their own musical voice.
Both in performance and in teaching, my work is rooted in a love of music and its power to connect us. Each note is a chance to uncover its intrinsic beauty, and each lesson is an opportunity to pass that discovery forward.
